How We Can Get a Lower MOQ for Custom Printed Eco Friendly Mailing Bags?

Last time, we discussed about how size will affect minimum order quantity of eco friendly mailing bag for clothing.

Except for size, actually printing will affect MOQ as well.

For printing, most important factor is printing area and how many colors needed to be printed.

For printing area, 75% is a boundary for full color(flood coated) print and other printing. If your artwork’s printing area is more than 75%, then more probably, we will ask for a higher MOQ since if your quantity is small, then full color printing is not worthwhile and production wastage will be high for us factories. Printing colors is also the same. If you need more colors to be printed, generally more than 3 colors, then we will need a higher MOQ.

So, considering printing problem, if you want to get a lower MOQ, you should try to make your printing with less inks coverage and less printing colors, better with 3 colors or less.

Last time when we mentioned how size will affect MOQ, minimum production weight of eco friendly mailing bags for machines was mentioned. In this case, can you figure out a way to get a lower MOQ? The most important thing is what will affect this minimum production weight of eco friendly shipping bags.

It is thickness. For eco friendly mailing bags for clothing, most important factor in their weights is thickness. We took 60 microns as an example to calculate weight for mailing bags in size 10×13 inch last time. Then we get 10 gsm for the mailing bags so it is with a MOQ of 10,000pcs. Let’s say, if we can increase the weight for each eco friendly mailing bag, can we get a lower MOQ? The answer is yes. How to increase the weight? Increase the thickness! The thicker an eco friendly mailing bag is, the heavier it will be. Most commonly used thicknesses for eco friendly mailing bags are 60 microns, 63 microns, 70 microns, 75 microns and 80 microns. Take thickness as 80 microns, then you can get a lower MOQ than 10,000pcs.
